Pokemon Sun and Moon is showing favorable pre-order trends in Japan, Europe, and U.S., Nintendo has announced.
When comparing Pokemon Sun and Moon with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, pre-orders for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are much higher, especially in the U.S. and European regions.

However, given the difference between pre-order periods of the two titles, a straight comparison is not possible, but it is evident that the upcoming installments are trending at a higher level as compared to earlier ones. Nintendo has also confirmed to start airing TV commercials this weekend which should further boost the pre-orders.
Apart from this, Nintendo also shared numbers regarding the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon demo which rolled out on Oct. 18, 2016. According to Nintendo, the demo has already surpassed 3.5 million downloads, making it the fastest start for any demo in the history of Nintendo 3DS system. This is another thing which goes out to show the ever-increasing popularity of Pokemon games.
In relevant Pokemon Sun and Moon news, each of the two games will require around 3.2GB on an SD card – which is somewhere around 26,215 blocks. Keeping this in view, at least a 4GB card – an empty one – is recommended to play the game. Users who are still rocking the single-digit card might be in need of an upgrade before the games come out.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is scheduled to release on Nov. 18, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS.
