Fans of the Witcher 3 were very excited when CD Projekt Red announced the standalone GWENT The Witcher Card Game. Also the developers has expressed that they want to feature Cross Network Play for their game, and now they have confirmed it.
A Reddit user Zorpix notified that CD Projekt Red has updated its FAQ for GWENT, and the developer have confirmed that GWENT will support Cross Network play for both Xbox One and PC. However, PlayStation 4 is not yet confirmed, and according to the devs they are looking into other options.
We can confirm cross-play between Xbox One and PC — all other options are being discussed.
The idea fo Cross Network Play has making some waves ever since it was introduced and many developers have expressed their desire to feature this functionality to their games. However, there are still some hurdles while implicating this feature, but we are sure that in the future it will be available for all games.
There is no doubt that GWENT has been extremely popular among The Witcher 3 fans, but the developers did not anticipated that this mini game would be so popular among the players.

As Gwent will feature a multiplayer component along with a singleplayer campaign, there are bound top be some thrid party hacks for the game. But CD Projekt Red is also prepared to tackle this issue, and the developers are ensuring that cheaters do not prevail in GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.
GWENT The Witcher Card Game will launch for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but no specific release date has been announced.
