Capcom has been revealing some new brief gameplay clips for Resident Evil 7 to showcase different aspects of the game. From what have been shown the game is shaping up to be an excellent survival horror, and now it has been revealed that development on the game is almost complete.
Capcom recently held an ambassador meeting to discuss the development progress of Resident Evil 7. Alex Aniel also attended the meeting and he posted about it on his Twitter account. According to Alex, development on the game is 90 percent complete.
He also posted a separate tweet, in which he revealed that during the meeting Capcom also showcased the game running on PlayStation 4 Pro, however, he could not take pictures of it.

As previously Resident Evil 7 producer, Masachika Kawata, said that the developers plan to again update the demo, and it seems that the updated demo might launch soon. Aniel further revealed that he got to play the new Resident Evil 7 demo.
Played a new #RE7 demo; can’t talk about what was in it specifically. But it was pretty darn good. Loving the game’s focus and direction. I think traditional RE fans, RE4-era RE fans & even Chronicles fans will find things in #RE7 that cater to what they liked about each style.
Recently, Masachika Kawata also revealed the secret for developing a good scary game. According to him, there are different factors that account for a real horror and every single one of them has to come together.
Resident Evil 7 is a first person survival horror game in development at Capocm, and the game is scheduled to launch on January 24, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
