Rockstar Games has just updated its Facebook page profile picture and timeline cover. Both images hint at the upcoming reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2 aka Red Dead 3.
The last time we heard about the game at was right before Gamescom. The title was rumored to be present during the event but it never showed. Similar rumors were floating around ahead of E3. In fact, credible sources confirmed the game’s reveal at E3 but the title was reportedly removed from Sony’s press event.
It is believed that Sony skipped showing the title due to the nature of the trailer. The reveal trailer showed shooting in a brothel/bar and due to what happened in Orlando just a few days prior to E3, Sony never showed the footage.
If that is true and Colin’s sources that are “never wrong” are to be believed, it is safe to say that Rockstar is ready to show what’s next.
Rockstar Games posting these images is a strong indication that Red Dead Redemption may finally be getting an unveiling. It is also rumored that Rockstar Games will release Red Dead 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC as well.
As you know, the first game never made it to PC but that may change with the sequel. Of course, we don’t think the console community will take issue with Rockstar Games releasing Red Dead 3 for PC, will you?
This is a developing story so we will have more updates for you soon so do check back later on.
