Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the most anticipated games to launch next year, and Ubisoft has geared up its efforts to keep the hype up for the game. Ghost Recon Wildlands will be an open world game and the first Ghost Recon game to feature it. Like many other open world games, Wildlands will feature different areas and ecosystem, well 11 to be exact.
Speaking with pixelvulture, Tom Isaksen, Senior Character Artist, discussed different aspects of Ghost Recon Wildlands, like how will players progress through the game, how players will approach missions as a team and more.
He also said that the game is getting near its release and the team is very proud of the game, specifically Bolivia, which is an authentic reconstruction of the country with 11 different ecosystems.
Well we have been working on it for 4 years now, it is almost there, close to release. We are very proud of it, especially Bolivia. It is interesting because it is a place not well-known. It is an authentic reconstruction of the country, and sure it is still a fantasy, but we really tried to create an authentic Bolivia. Hopefully once you have played it, you will want to go there because it is a very diverse country with 11 different ecosystems.
He further added that these different ecosystems combined with game’s day and night cycle will completely change the gameplay.
That along with the game’s full day/night cycle, will change your gameplay completely. Playing missions at night will change your approach to the mission as AI will have different patterns, and enemies will be in different locations.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled to launch on March 7,2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
