Mafia 3 got official release three days ago and its sales went pretty good. A lot of people had to complain about this game because of bugs and stuff like that, but one thing is for sure: Mafia 3’s map is a really big one. But it isn’t just bigger, no. Mafia 3’s map is bigger than Fallout 4 one though!
How do we know it? Simple. Youtube user TheyCallMeConor decided to make a video showing the main character walk accross the whole playable area of Mafia 3. The result is incredible, since it took him to walk accross the whole map something like 1 hour and 23 minutes, while the same process with Fallout 4 took around 1 hour and 1 minute.
The already quoted video is available below.
However, as we were saying, Mafia 3 is giving players a lot of troubles, especially on PC. According to PC Gamer report, Mafia 3 PC version is clearly stuck at 30 FPS even with the lowest resolution. This is the report:
I thought that simply my PC just couldn’t handle it, so I shifted down 720p and the lowest graphics settings, but it was still locked to 30. I’m using a GTX 970, an i5-6600K overclocked to 4.5GHz, and 16GB of RAM, which should be more than enough to make this game work. Anyway it still happens when I disable the in-game vsync option.
Hangar 13 heard the rumor and quickly started working on a fix that has been released today. This patch is already available on Steam and it unlocks the 60 frame settings, letting the player choose the frame limit.
Mafia 3 is already out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
