Pokemon Sun and Moon File Size Unveiled, Upgrade to 2-Digit SD Cards

Nintendo has officially unveiled Pokemon Sun and Moon file size on its Japanese website.

According to Nintendo, each game will require about 3.2GB on an SD card – which is somewhere around 26,215 blocks. Keeping this in view, it is recommended that you get at least a 4GB SD card – an empty one, if I may add.

The studio also notes that having the demo and a game on a same SD card will definitely result in storage issues which is why if you are still using a 4GB card, it is time you go for an upgrade and get future-proofed.

The said Pokemon Sun and Moon demo, as confirmed by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company – is scheduled to roll out later this month on Oct. 18, 2016. The trailer released to showcase the demo shows the evolution of Starter Pokemon, Festival Plaza, and a variety of Pokemon abilities. To find out more, head over to the post!

In relevant Pokemon Sun and Moon news, two of the game’s developers – Shigeru Ohmori and Junichi Masuda – have confirmed to organize a Q&A session regarding the game near its release date. You can, however, submit your question on Twitter right now and have a chance to get them featured during the session.

Pokemon Sun and Moon is scheduled to release on Nov. 18, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS.
