Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered fans need to pay attention as we have some great news. Modern Warfare is now available to play via early access on PlayStation 4.
According to Sony, those who pre-ordered Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition can now download and start playing Modern Warfare Remastered on PS4. If you have pre-ordered the game, you should log in to PlayStation 4 and check your notifications.
You should have received a message by now that grants you access to Modern Warfare. If you preordered from the PlayStation Store, the game should already be in your library, ready to download.
However, if you preordered from a retailer you must pay in full to receive a code for Modern Warfare Remastered.
The early access will end on 10 AM, November 3.
The final release date for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition is November 4. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. No last-gen versions will be available this year, support has been dropped officially by Activision.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available on PS4 now thanks to a deal between Sony and Activision. The publisher has partnered with PlayStation for its future COD games as well. Meanwhile, Microsoft has joined forces with EA for Battlefield 1.
Modern Warfare has been remastered by Raven Software. The studio has helped with many COD games over the years but is now looking for an opportunity to create its own COD title.
David Pellas, Raven Software’s Studio Director instantly said that if his team works on a COD game it will be gameplay first.
It would be the gameplay first. Boy we sure do like the modern time period. So, you know what, we haven’t even really discussed that. But I can tell you that our team is we are all in on this game and this time period feels so good.
