Beyond Good & Evil Goes Free on PC Starting Next Week as a Part of Ubi 30 Promotion

Ubisoft has announced that Beyond Good & Evil will be free on PC starting Oct. 12, 2016.

This is a part of Ubisoft’s Ubi 30 promotion – originally announced during E3 2016 – which celebrates the company’s 30TH anniversary as a game publisher and allows its fans to get a free PC game every month.

However, do note that you need to have an active uPlay account in order to claim the free games. You do not really need to complete the download in one sitting – simply add the game to your uPlay library and it is yours to keep, forever!

Last month, Ubisoft offered The Crew as a freebie – an online racing game which spans across the USA map.

In relevant Beyond Good & Evil news, Michel Ancel continues to share concept art – seemingly from Beyond Good & Evil 2 – on his Instagram feed. A caption on one of his uploads reads that the game is currently in pre-production phase.

Pre-production is essentially one of the first steps while working on a project so it is safe to assume that we will not be getting a sequel anytime soon. Fancy a look at the shared concept art? Head over to the post!

Beyond Good & Evil originally released back in 2003 for GameCube, the original Xbox, and Playstation 2. It has been 13 years since the launch of critically acclaimed game and it is good to see a sequel in pre-production phase.
