A new Deus Ex patch will be introducing HDR support to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, allowing the Playstation 4 and Xbox One S consoles to make the game look even better.
The patch will also be compatible with the Playstation 4 Pro when it comes out. In addition to that, the patch also fixes a number of other issues with the game.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has a lot to both live up to and make amends for from Human Revolution, its well-reviewed predecessor. Now finally out of the piss-yellow filters of the previous game, Mankind Divided has had to up its resolution and its visual game, which the new Deus Ex patch will help to do.
In addition to adding in HDR support, the patch also adds in bug and crash fixes and new content for the game’s Breach mode.
In the main game, players can now do things like exit the Poor District, use the shooting range, be sure that be sure of Koller’s fate at the end of the “All In The Family” mission. Players in Breach mode will also now be able to customize their online avatar, access an overworld map, and get new skins and weapons.
In this day and age when video game consoles and PCs are getting more and more advanced, support for things like HDR and 4K are becoming more and more important as gamers start to clamor for higher graphical quality in upcoming video games.
Now, whether you’re walking through the beautiful streets of Prague (that thankfully are not piss-yellow), or walking through the cybernetic passages of the Breach mode, if you own a Playstation 4 or an Xbox One S (or are planning to buy a Playstation 4 Pro) you can look around in wonder at how much better everything looks with HDR support, all thanks to the Deus Ex patch.
