Destiny: Rise of Iron Vosik Boss Battle guide to help you defeat the first boss in Wrath of the Machine raid.

The six-player epic boss battle with Vosik, the Archpriest is not to be taken lightly. Before committing to the boss battle, remember that the recommended Light Level for Wrath of the Machine is somewhere between 360-370 – the higher, the better.

In addition to this, it is highly recommended that you get a hard-hitting weapon like Year-3 variant of Gjallarhorn or Devil’s Dawn.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Vosik Boss Battle Guide

In our Destiny: Rise of Iron Vosik Boss Battle guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about defeating Vosik, the Archpriest.

First Encounter

Immediately after starting the fight, you should notice a red SIVA shield which makes Vosik immune to damage. In order to deplete the shield, you basically need to be on the move and collect voltage charges scattered all across the boss arena.

You should have no difficulties identifying the voltage charges due to their bright appearance. However, do note that a player can only hold a total of 4 charges and you must not let the timer reach zero. After each successful voltage charge grab, you should notice a slight increase in your voltage meter and timer.

Apart from gathering voltage charges and filling the voltage meter, you must fend off enemies at the same time – it is important to keep this in mind. For the time being, continue to gather the voltage charges until you hit Max Voltage.

Once that happens, run towards one of the generators or pods around the arena and discharge in order to fill up a bar. It does not matter on which generator you discharge the voltage at because it all counts towards the global objective. After you have fully charged the bar, the generators should start spewing SIVA charges all over the place.

What you need to do is to grab these SIVA charges and toss them at Vosik, the Archpriest in order to drain his shield, allowing you to deal damage to him. Before you, however, switch to your weapons; try to toss as many SIVA charges as you can because they certainly pack a punch and keep the fight significantly easier.

You basically need to continue repeating the same process until the coward runs away from the arena.

Second Encounter

During the second encounter, Vosik should have his SIVA shield replenished and up again. In order to deplete it this time around, you basically need to eliminate enemies in the near vicinity and shoot the screen as soon as they turn red.

This should allow the screens to spew SIVA charges – kind of like the generators earlier. As before, you need to gather these SIVA charges and toss them at his shield in order to deplete it. Like mentioned earlier, try to toss all the residual SIVA charges before switching to your weapons first because they definitely pack a punch.

During the fight, if you read a message saying ‘SIVA Density Critical’, immediately head inside one of the four rooms and shoot the markings on the wall to become immune to a massive AoE blast. If you, by some chance, die in the blast, someone from your fireteam must help you get back up.

Moreover, it is important to remember which rooms you have already used because a single room can only be used once. Keeping this in mind, it is crucial that you complete the boss battle before using all four rooms. If you, however, run out of the rooms, make sure to look at the screens during the AoE blast – one of them must display a symbol which you need to shoot in order to negate the damage.

Continue to repeat the strategies mentioned above until you get rid of Vosik, the Archpriest.
