Just one month remains before Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases and Infinity Ward is revealing some new details.
Back at Call of Duty XP event, Infinity Ward announced the crafting system for the game but did not reveal any specific details. Now the developers have finally detailed the Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare weapon crafting system.
Speaking with PlayStationlifestyle, Jordan Hirsch, multiplayer project director, revealed some new details about Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare weapon crafting system.
According to him, the crafting system requires players to earn salvage, which is the in-game crafting currency and can be obtained by playing the game.
When the player thinks that he/she has enough salvage they can craft weapons and rare weapons require more salvage.
The crafting system is really actually pretty simple. While you play the game, you’re earning salvage, which is the crafting currency. So you’ll play the game. If you win, you’ll get a little bit more. It’s mostly tied to the amount of time you’ve played. So you’ll get that crafting currency, and then you’ll go into our armory, which will have a list of all of the base weapons, and all of the rare prototype weapons. So you can select the weapon you want to craft, hit a button, and craft it. (More rare weapons) will take more crafting currency to unlock.
He further confirmed that Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare weapon crafting system will have more than 80 weapons, and the developer has plans to add more after the launch.
In the crafting system, right now I believe we have a little over 80 weapons. We have some plans to add some more in the future.
While the game is going to launch next month, the beta for the game is will start from October 14 for PlayStation 4 users.
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2016, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
