Paladins Champions of the Realm is a free-to-play fantasy-themed first-person shooter developed by SMITE developer Hi-Rez Studios. The game has already taken the PC community by storm, now the developer has announced that Paladins Champions of the Realm will be coming to PlayStation 4, and players can now signup for the closed beta.
Now, you must be wondering that there are a lot of free-to-play games out there set in fantasy land. Well, the developers have pointed out key points of Paladins Champions of the Realm which sets this game apart from others.
The first point the developers notify is that, the game is not another sci-Fi shooter. The game is set in a fantasy world of ancient technology. In the game players will fight their way through the Realm, which is a world of enchanted forest ancient temples, medieval castles, and frozen keeps.
The developer also noted that there is champion in the game for every gamer that suits his/her play style. Players will be able to choose from 17 champions in every match. Also new champions will be added on a regular basis, so that players can try out new champions.
The game also features a unique collectible card system. Using this system players will build their own decks of cards, which will amplify or augment the core abilities of player’s champion, so that players can play the game the way they want to play it.
According to the developers, Paladins Champions of the Realm implements a fair free-to-play policy. In the game players will be able to unlock every champion even those released in the future, for $20, or unlock them for free by playing the game.
The developers also announced that the closed beta for the game will start soon, but did not specified any date. If you are interested, you can sign up for the closed beta by following this link.
