Watch Dogs 2 is one of the most anticipated games of this year, despite the first game being a disappointment. Ubisoft has done a great job of marketing the game, and from what we have seen the developers have clearly learned from their mistakes with the first game. Now to keep the hype going, Ubisoft has released a new Watch Dogs 2 story trailer.
Watch Dogs 2 story trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the game when it launches in November for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The trailer also introduces us to a returning character from Watch Dogs along with new characters that the protagonist, Marcus, will cross paths along the way.
While the first game centered around a revenge plot, this time, the game focuses on a broader perspective. The trailer shows that DedSec is all out war against Blume corporation, who controls the ctOS and DedSec consider it extremely dangerous for people’s privacy, as Blume collects private information of people and sells it.
The trailer introduces us to Dusan Nemec, who is the CTO of Blume and controls the ctOS and all the deals made with public’s private information. Also, the trailer brings a beloved character from Watch Dogs, Raymond Kenny aka T-Bone , who is brought in to help DedSec in the fight against Blume.
And what is a trailer for an action game that does not have any explosions in it? So we see a lot of explosions and bullets flying around in this trailer also.
Recently, Ubisoft detailed the skill system for Watch Dogs 2. According to the developer, the skill system is dependent on players using research points to research and unlock skills, which are dependent on gathering followers.
Recently, game director Jonathan Morin held a Q&A session on Twitter, where he discussed the game and revealed some new details.
According to Jonathan, the new Watch Dogs 2 thematic narrative approach has allowed the developers to not only explore various themes centered around people’s relationship with technology, but it has also allowed them to offer a unique gameplay experience.
