Minecon 2016 Minecraft Skin Pack Free For A Limited Time

With Minecon 2016 coming in around two days, a new Minecraft Skin Pack has been put out for free for a limited time, and are going to be including a number of new character skins along with a few adjustments for other, pre-existing skins. Last year’s LittleBigPlanet promotional skins will also be a part of the skin pack.

All of these new skins will be available on both Windows and console versions of Minecraft, so you don’t have to worry about missing them if you were thinking they were on a console that you didn’t own.

The skins available in the Minecraft Skin Pack include the Forest Fighter skin, the Ice Pioneer, the Mesa Artisan, and the Ocean Engineer. Steve and Alex, the two default player skins in Minecraft, also have gotten new capes to help them stand out a bit more.

Minecraft is no stranger to having new skins; more of them seem to come out with every DLC pack, allowing players to dress up how they want to in skins like Master Chief, Banjo, the biker from Trials Evolution, characters from Mass Effect, characters from Star Wars, and more. All of these characters normally come with various texture packs, new biomes, and more.

The game’s LittleBigPlanet skin pack came out for last year’s Minecon, so this year’s own skin pack will be going along similar lines, and the LittleBigPlanet pack will be joining it to be available to Minecraft fans for free.

While normally this new Minecraft skin pack would cost around 5 or 6 dollars, while Minecon is going on, the skin pack will be free for two weeks until October 4, after which it will become a DLC that you’ll have to pay for, so if you’re looking for some new skins, go out and buy it now! It’s not like you’d be losing any money.
