Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos Release Date Leaked

A recent leak from a French Nintendo website has allowed gamers to find out the release date for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos, which will be coming out along with the game to give players various bonuses. According to the website, the Amiibos will be coming out on April 3 of next year.

The Amiibos that will be coming out along with Breath of the Wild have been known for some time now, ever since Nintendo officially revealed them. There will be two Link amiibos (one with him on Epona, one with him using a bow) and one Amiibo of a Guardian enemy, which is also the first Amiibo with posable parts.

In addition to these three different Amiibos, we will also be abel to use the Wolf Link Amiibo that came out with Twilight Princess HD in order to help us. Wolf Link will be given three hearts upon summoning, and will attack enemies until he runs out of those hearts, after which he can be summoned again.

While we still don’t know what the three main Breath of the Wild Amiibos will actually do, they’ll likely be able to confer some kind of bonus item on Link as he traverses through the world of Hyrule. These could be anything from arrows for your bow, to heart pieces, to bombs or other items like actual weapons.

What’s interesting is that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild still doesn’t have a concrete release date; even at its E3 showing this year, it’s only gotten a 2017 release window, without any real indication of a month or day. The fact that these Breath of the Wild Amiibos have release dates may actually mean that we’ve got some rough idea of an actual release date for Breath of the Wild.
