PS4 Pro is Up for Pre Order for $399 at Amazon

Those waiting for PS4 Pro to go up for pre order will be excited to know that the moment has finally come. According to Amazon’s website, the new PS4 model is now up for pre order for $399.

Players will be able to get their hands on this device on November 10 when it ships. Stocks aren’t expected to last very long so it is best you reserve a unit or risk buying it at twice the price from eBay.

PS4 Pro comes with 4K output and HDR support that will give players the “sharpest gaming experience” to date. Sony showed many games running on 4K with HDR during PlayStation 4 Meeting.

Some of the features of the new console, as explained on Amazon:

  • Capable of outputting 4K graphics, HDR support, smoother and more stable framerates, and 4K video streaming
  • Comes standard with a 1TB hard drive, faster Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), and a third USB 3.1 Gen.1 port
  • Includes latest version of DUALSHOCK 4 controller

You can also check out PS4 Slim if the Pro is out of budget. The slimmer version of the base model retails for $299.

PS4 Pro also kicked off a new line of accessories including PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset and a redesigned PlayStation Camera.

The camera has a new “compact cylindrical form,” and supports a stand for adjusting the angle. PlayStation Camera will retail for $59.

Meanwhile, those looking to upgrade their Silver or Gold Wireless headsets should definitely consider this. PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset comes with 7.1 virtual surround sound with positional audio powered by SIE 3D audio tech.

The headset will retail for $159 but a final release is not yet announced by Sony.
