The game looks absolutely amazing in 4K. Here are a couple of screenshots from Days Gone:

PlayStation 4 Pro is something of a game changer for developers. Sony Bend recently explained the benefits of PS4 Pro and how excited they development team is.

For Days Gone, it’s really exciting working on the PlayStation 4 Pro. What it’s really providing us now is visual clarity that we haven’t been able to see before. The details in the environment really pop now, the character details, the color, the vibrancy of it…It’s just amazing.

Days Gone has been in development for a while now and its use of HDR technology would be exceptional. In case you are wondering what is HDR, it is a feature that allows displays to show a wider and richer range of colors. This results in a more dynamic and realistic image quality on-screen.

The concept of Days Gone is pretty similar to The Last of Us but set in an open world. However, according to Sony Bend, the game is at the opposite end of The Last of Us.

The Last of Us was an amazing experience and it is only naturally now to compare any story driven zombie game with it. To many, Days Gone feels like a generic zombie shooter set in an open world. But we don’t know enough about the game to pass any judgement.

This PlayStation exclusive is without a release date for PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4 Pro.
