If you’re wondering about what sort of games that you could play on your Playstation VR when it comes out, don’t worry. When the headset launches on October 13, you’ll have a Playstation VR demo disc coming with it in order to try out eight of the Playstation VR’s most anticipated games.
To start, we have Driveclub VR, a first-person driving and racing game developed by Evolution Studios. You’ve also got Playstation VR Worlds, which takes you deep beneath the ocean in one of the five levels of the actual game. Next we have Guerrilla Games’s RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, where you fight other players in mecha in a sporting arena.
Next on the Playstation VR demo disc we have Tumble VR from Supermassive Games, a VR, 3D version of block stacking games. After that we have the Battlezone game from Rebellion, where you drive a powerful tank and crush everything in your way. Then we’ve got EVE: Valkyrie, a flight simulator from the creators of EVE.
Lastly, we’ve got Wayward Sky, where you search for your father in a crumbling sky fortress, and Headmaster, where you can kick a soccer ball at various targets.
The Playstation VR has already sold out its pre-order capacity multiple times, so hopefully with all of this promotion that Sony is doing they’ll be able to make quite the good profit off of the headset, though they’ll have a lot of competition to go through since the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive have already been out for multiple months.
You don’t have to worry about individually purchasing a Playstation VR demo disc either, because it’s going to be coming with every Playstation VR headset. And if you don’t like any of the games that are on the disc, you don’t have to worry about that either; you’ll probably find something that can interest you among all of the games that the Playstation VR will have.
