Mafia 3 is just a month away from its launch on PC and console and the hype for the game is increasing with every passing week.
To keep the hype train going, developer Hanger 13 has detailed the Mafia 3 DLC expansions and free content that will be available to everyone once the game launches.
Let’s start with the free content for Mafia 3.
According to the developers, players will get new character outfits to change the look of the main character, also a weapons pack that will be available after 30 days of game’s launch and vehicle customization options.
The vehicle customization will include a racing series, detached from the game’s narrative, that delivers its own rewards.
As for the paid Mafia 3 DLC expansions, they will include an expansion called “Faster, Baby” which will feature a corrupt sheriff harassing the civil rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux. New Bordeaux is an analogue for New Orleans and Mafia 3 is set in the late 1960s.
“Sign of the Times” is the second expansion for Mafia 3 that will feature ritualistic killings and tasks Lincoln with hunting down the cultists responsible.
A string of ritualistic killings has New Bordeaux on the edge of terror. At Father James’ request, Lincoln agrees to hunt down the cult responsible, a quest that will take him from the dark heart of the old bayou to the drug-ridden counterculture of the inner city.
Last but not the least “Stones Unturned” will have Lincoln join forces with “CIA agent John Donovan to settle a blood feud that began in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam.”
All three of these Mafia 3 DLC expansions will be included in the season pass for the game for $29.99. However, if bought separately they will run you a total of $39.97.
Mafia 3 is scheduled to launch on October 7, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
