Microsoft has unveiled the launch trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action-adventure title ReCore for Xbox One and Windows 10.
The launch trailer shares more information on ReCore’s world of Far Eden and the main protagonist Joule Adams.
ReCore Launch Trailer Released
The said launch trailer is narrated by Joule’s father Dr. Thomas Adams who delves into her journey across Far Eden and reveals new gameplay details and characters from the game:
Narrated by Joule’s father, Dr. Thomas Adams, the video takes a deeper look at Joule’s journey, revealing new gameplay and characters from ReCore’s cinematic story as well as the qualities Joule inherited from her father; qualities that will help her and her Corebot companions to bring new life and hope to Far Eden.
In addition to this, Microsoft has also revealed a few actors who are doing voice and motion capture work for the game. Joule is played by Erika Soto, Dr. Adams is voiced by Connor Trinner from Star Trek: Enterprise, and Kai Brehn is played by Harry Shum Jr. from Glee and Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.
Judging from the cast behind ReCore, it looks like this is the surprise that the game’s Lead Writer Joseph Staten teased yesterday. To find out more, head over to the post!
Developed by Comcept and Armature Studios, ReCore is scheduled to release on Sept. 13 in the U.S., Sept. 15 in Japan, and Sept. 16, 2016 in Europe.
In addition to upcoming Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3, ReCore is one of the first titles to support Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere initiative that allows users to crossbuy and crossplay their games between Xbox One systems and Windows 10 PCs.
