While Titafall was exclusive to PC and Xbox One, Titanfall 2 will release for all three platforms. But many are speculating that Respawn might prioritize Xbox One over other platforms. However, according to Titanfall 2 Art Director Joel Emslie that is not the case. He said that all platform are equals, and there is no lead platform for Titanfall 2.
Now it’s kind of weird, I think that everything is kind of built in tandem. You know, with the compressed timeline that we developed the game on, we’re always doing everything simultaneously, so there really isn’t a lead platform to develop on. We treat them all equal, with equal quality and equal approach.
Recently, Single Player Designer for Titanfall 2, Mohammad Alavi, revealed that Titanfall 2 will not only be unique from previous game, but also players will do things that they have done before in a game.
Titanfall 2 is a first person shooter in development at Respawn Entertainment, and is scheduled to release on October 28 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
