Top 10 Games to Look Out for in 2017

Past few months have been really exciting as we received great new content from devs across the globe. The Division came out, The Witcher 3 got its final expansion, No Man’s Sky finally released, among other projects.

This Fall will be even better with the release of Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered, Titanfall 2, Watch Dogs 2 and much more.

However, looking at 2017 we can already see that the year will be exceptional in terms of great new content. Today, we look ahead to see the top ten games to look forward to in 2017.

10. Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios is back with a sequel to the original Injustice. The game is coming to all major platforms via retail and digital platforms. Many may not know this but Injustice 2 is coming to iOS and Android devices as well.

Players will be able to play as some of the most loved Superheroes and Villains. Batman, Flash, Superman, Aquaman, Supergirl, Deadshot and many others have already been confirmed for the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance – No.9

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming role-playing video game developed by Warhorse Studios. The game is set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire.

Kingdom Come Deliverance focuses on historically accurate and realistic content.

NieR: Automata – No.8

Nier: Automata shares the same post-apocalyptic universe as the original game. Emil is confirmed to return in the game while other classic characters will also be back.

Throughout the game players will take control of different characters with the ability of rotate the camera 360 degree. Details are scarce but more will be shared soon by Platinum Games.

Vampyr – No.7

Set in the 1918 London, Vampyr tells the story of a city where an outbreak of influenza killed many. The fictional elements of Vampyr are mixed with true events of that time when the real-life flu pandemic infected 500 million people across the globe.

Players are in control of Jonathan E. Reid, a doctor turned Vampyr. Reid is fighting the monster within while trying to help the city and do some good.

Paragon – No.6

Paragon is an extremely team-based and strategy oriented, tactical game. Epic Games has crafted a beautiful MOBA game that not only keeps you hooked for hours on end, but manages to make every second spent in-game enjoyable without a single dull moment.

Paragon is in open beta for PS4 and PC.

Horizon Zero Dawn – No.5

Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon Zero Dawn will release for PlayStation 4. It is set in a very unique post-apocalyptic setting where mechanical dinosaurs have taken over. It is up to the player to find the truth behind all the chaos.

It is an RPG with deep crafting mechanics and rich story elements.

Ghost Recon Wildlands – No.4

Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the biggest releases of 2017. Ubisoft has created the biggest open world in company history. Packed with heart pumping action, Ghost Recon Wildlands is set in Bolivia where we’ll take on the biggest drug cartel.

For Honor – No.3

Another Ubisoft game has made to the list and this time it is For Honor. Another unique take on the MOBA genre, the game has surprised many with its gameplay elements, characters, and amazing art.

For Honor is using a third person view and hack n slash mechanics, similar to Epic’s Paragon.

Mass Effect: Andromeda – No.2

EA is yet to fully show what Mass Effect Andromeda is in terms of gameplay but we can already tell that it would be the biggest and most badass entry in the series.

Humanity is at the brink of chaos and it is up to Shepard to find us a new home. The game may make you feel like a villain at times, according to EA.

Prey – No.1

Bethesda is focusing on bringing many of its shelved franchises back in the limelight. One of the franchises returning is Prey. It is a reboot of the series that is not connected with the previous game.

If the return of Doom is any indication, Bethesda will work its heart out on Prey.
