Deus Ex Mankind Divided has launched, and like many other AAA games it is also experiencing performance issues on PC and consoles. Developer Nixxes has now released a PC patch for Deus Ex Mankind Divided, which brings improvements for the game.
This new PC patch for Deus Ex Mankind Divided updates the game to v1.0 build 524.7. This new patch fixes game crashes that are caused by third party software, and also fixes the crash that happens right after the intro video.
• Fixed crashes caused by third-party programs interfering with the game.
Fixed crash that occurred after viewing the intro videos.
Fixed issue that could cause a crash at the end of the Prague intro scene.
Fixed mouse invert setting not being displayed correctly in the options menu.
Also the developer has noted that some users are experiencing serious performance issues on Ultra or High settings with MSAA set to 2x, 4x, or 8x. The developer has emphasized that these options are very demanding.
Also the developer has recommended that those players who are running the game on recommended specs or higher, should start from High Preset and MSAA turned off, and then tweak the options to optimize their performance. The developer also stated:
While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we have made a Beta available on Steam, v1.0_build 524.6, that can be used to switch back to the previous version.
Nixxes said that they will be monitoring the feedback and further patches will be released to fix the issues “if required”.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided is an action role playing game developed by Eidos Montreal for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, the optimization for the PC version was done by Nixxes.
