Battlefield 1 Open Beta Getting One Day Head Start on Xbox One?

We already know that Sony is in partnership with Activision for Call of Duty. Seeing this, Microsoft went with EA and its Battlefield 1 to counter Sony’s partnership and so far, it looks like the decision was absolutely right.

The community loves Battlefield 1 and since its announcement it has become the most anticipated shooter of 2016. EA is hosting a Battlefield 1 Open beta across all platforms on August 31, as per the official announcement.

However, a leaked image suggests that Battlefield 1 open beta may get a one day head start on Xbox One. Thanks to the partnership between Microsoft and EA DICE, Xbox One players may get early access to the beta.

As you can see the date it mentions is August 30th rather than August 31. It is possible that the client becomes available on August 30 while the open beta unlocks on August 31.

We will know what’s going on soon enough.

Battlefield 1 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 21. Almost within a week, Titanfall 2 is also hitting storefronts across the globe so it would be a hard week for our wallets.
