A UK based retailer has revealed the release date for Batman Return To Arkham. According to the site Batman Return To Arkham release date is November 25.
However, this could be just a placeholder for the release date, but the retailer has previously leaked some game info before. So it is possible that the release date might be accurate. Back in June the same retailer listed PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Skyrim remaster, just a week before of the official reveal.
Batman Return To Arkham release date also ties with a recent report that suggested that the game had been delayed to November. The game was originally scheduled to release in July, however, the game was delayed without any release date.
According to the developer, Virtuous Games, both games need more polishing, which Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has decided to give them.
After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.
However, Return to Arkham is not the only Batman game that is in development. Batman Arkham VR is a virtual reality game that relies heavily on narrative.
According to Rocksteady’s brand marketing manager, Dax Ginn, the narrative is critical to Batman Arkham VR and the elements of the previous games just does not fit in anymore.
The narrative is critical. We can’t just do what we’ve done on previous Arkham games. All of those systems don’t really apply anymore, but the good news for us is that I think we’ve always been good at telling Batman stories.
Batman Return To Arkham is a collection of remastered Batman games, Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City, which will release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
