Tokyo Game Show is set to start next month, and like every year many big developers and publishers will be there to showoff their upcoming games. Capcom has also announced that it will showcase Resident Evil 7 at the convention along with its other IPs.
Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Spirits, Monster Hunter Stories, Resident Evil 7 and other games will be showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2016. Monster Hunter Spirits will be playable at the convention, while Monster Hunter Stories will also be playable and will have a stage event dedicated to it.
Also Capcom will also show the opening movie and a special video for Monster Hunter Stories at the event.
Resident Evil 7 will also be playable at the event, however, Capcom has not specified that wil it be the same demo released for PlayStation 4 or a new section of the game.
- Monster Hunter Spirits (Arcade) – Playable.
- Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) – Playable, Stage Event, Live Stream – Visit the theater booth to see the opening movie and a special video you won’t see elsewhere.
- Resident Evil 7: biohazard (PlayStation 4, PSVR, XBO, PC) – Playable (PS4, PSVR), Stage Event, Live Stream – The latest demo will make its first debut in Japan.
- Toraware no Palm (iOS, Android) – Playable, Stage Event.
Capcom will also live stream Tokyo Game Show from its show floor on September 15 at 20:00 JST, September 17 at 10:00 JST and September 18 at 17:00 JST.
In related news, Capcom recently revealed that adding support for PlayStation VR in Resident Evil 7 increased the development cost of the game.
Certain things were required in making the game VR-compatible, such as graphic needs that are more complex than before, thus there was an increase in development investment.
Tokyo Game Show will take place in Makuhari Messe, and will continue from September 15 to September 18.
