Apparently a lot of Pokemon Sun and Moon fans want to see late Harambe in the upcoming games.
The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have revealed quite a lot of characters that will be included in Pokemon Sun and Moon, but it looks like fans are still not satisfied.
Thousands of fans are online petitioning The Pokemon Company and Nintendo to add Harambe in the upcoming games.
Harambe in Pokemon Sun and Moon
And although the online petition specifically mentions Harambe, the developers would have to include its pre-evolution form Hambo as well. Both Hambo and Harambe would be Ghost-Type and Fighting-Type Pokemon that possess Meat Shield ability.
The petition is put online by a user named EricCreamyMemes and have managed to amass over 57,000 online signatures. Created 4 days ago, the online petition requires a total of 75,000 signatures, but we do not know whether Nintendo will pay any heed to it or not!
Harambe deserves to live on forever in our hearts. Support this petition if you want Harambe to become a Pokémon.
For those of you who are interested in signing the petition can head over to Change.Org for more information!
In case you do not know, Harambe was a 17-year-old gorilla who lived in the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Harambe was shot dead last May by a zoo worker after a 3-year old boy got too near to the gorilla. Since then, Harambe’s death has caught social media by the storm and has given birth to online petitions like these.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is scheduled to release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18, 2016. You can also get a Limited Edition Pokemon Sun and Moon 3DS Bundle if you are looking for a new 3DS.
