Rumor: Rockstar Attending PlayStation Meeting in September, Red Dead Redemption 2?

Red Dead Redemption 2 could be shown at PlayStation Meeting. New report suggests it was indeed suppose to be at E3 2016 even though Sony denied.

Rockstar leaks are mostly inaccurate and many notable insiders have failed to predict when the studio will reveal its new game. We were expecting to see the game at E3 2016 and many gaming GURUs predicted the same. However, Rockstar never came on stage, in fact, there is no evidence to prove that the studio was even attending the event.

However, a source that I personally trust, Colin Moriarty of Kinda Funny Games,  recently claimed that Rockstar was indeed at E3. Even though Sony said they never intended to show Rockstar’s game, Colin claims that is not the case.

It is believed that Sony skipped showing the title due the nature of the trailer. The reveal trailer showed shooting in a brothel and due what happened in Orlando just a few days prior to E3, Sony never showed it.

If that is true and Colin’s sources that are “never wrong” are to be believed, it is safe to say that Rockstar is ready to show what’s next. All they need now is a platform and rumor has it that PlayStation Meeting is where things will go down.

Rockstar’s next project, whatever it is, could be shown at PlayStation Meeting on September 7. Interestingly, in a recent earnings report Rockstar mentioned that it will reveal its new projects “soon.”

Everything points to PlayStation Meeting on September 7 where Sony is expected to show its PlayStation 4 Neo and PlayStation Vita Trinity.

Another very interesting question is regarding the name of said project from Rockstar. Every rumor, speculation, leak, points to Red Dead 3 aka Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar hasn’t confirmed it so it could be anything – LA Noire 2, Bully 2, Agent, New IP.

But it looks like the community wants a new Red Dead game. What about you? Which game would you like to see?
