Rise Of Iron Will Give Players Control Over Destiny Faction Rewards
Destiny faction rewards have not always been the pleasing type. Sometimes when a player hits the new faction level, and he/she goes to claim their reward and what they find is a pair of pants and its frustrating after grinding Dead Orbit reputation all week.
However, according to Bungie game director, Chris Barrett, this problem with Destiny faction rewards will soon be a memory, once Destiny Rise Of Iron expansion comes out. Barret posted an image on his Twitter account with the caption:
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could pick whether you wanted armor or weapons from Faction packages? #RiseofIron.
The image showcases New Monarchy rewards, and it is safe to assume that Dead Orbit and Future War Cult will also get the same option. Hopefully Vanguard and Crucible faction rewards will follow this as well.
However, in the image it is showed that players can choose from three different rewards. As of yet we have no idea about what will be the third reward beside armor or weapons.
In related news, Bungie has detailed the new Destiny arena mode called Archon’s Forge and will be included with Destiny Rise Of Iron. Archon’s Forge is located deep in the new Plaguelands area. In this arena players will face off against numerous waves of Fallen enemies.
While the gamers have grown accustomed to Bungie increasing the vault space with every new expansion. Well they would be a little bit disappointed, an Bungie will not increase the vault space with the release of Destiny Rise Of Iron.
Bungie has noted that it is difficult to increase the vault space, as they have to deal with memory constraints to allow some extra slots.
Destiny Rise Of Iron expansion is scheduled to release on September 20, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
