Activision is gearing up to reveal Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies mode, and this time the company has announced a precise date for the reveal.
The announcement comes from the official Call Of Duty account, where the company posted that Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare zombies mode will be revealed on August 16.
The Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies mode is discussed as being a unique experience. The mode takes place in a different universe than the main Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare campaign.
Previously, Activision and Infinity Ward has released a teaser image for Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies mode. The teaser image was released with the caption “Burning up the dance floor took on a whole new meaning in Willard Wyler’s DISCO DEVIL, setting box office records on fire. #IWZombies”.
This is the first time that Infinity Ward is introducing a Zombies mode to their game. Previously in Ghosts, Infinity Ward introduced an extinction mode which involved aliens.
In related news, Infinity Ward has detailed the characters for Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare at San Diego Comic Con 2016. The developer detailed the main characters of the game including Captain Nick Reyes played by Brian Bloom, Lieutenant Nora Salter played by Gray Hyder, Ethan played by Jeffrey Nordling and Staff Sergeant Omar played by David Harewood.
It looks like Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare will take some risks in its story telling and characters. According to the Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare’s narrative director, Taylor Kurosaki, characters in Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare will live and die based on player’s decisions during missions.
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is scheduled to release on November 4, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
