Sony Gamescom Lineup Revealed Before Convention

The Sony Gamescom lineup has been revealed before the convention, allowing gamers to see what all will be coming to the event on August 17.

The Sony Gamescom lineup has been revealed before the convention has even started, showing us all of the various games and things that we’ll be learning about when Sony takes the stage in Germany on August 17.

The lineup has everything from the Playstation 4 to Playstation VR, to the demos that con-goers will be able to play. This is despite an announcement that Sony would not attend the event, alongside Microsoft.

For Playstation 4, the Sony Gamescom lineup goes from racing (in the form of Gran Turismo Sport) to Titanfall 2 and Destiny: Rise of Iron, some of the more looked-forward to games of this year. Whether we’ll see any other information on them in the near future is definitely something we should look forward to.

The Playstation VR definitely has a lot more content to look forward to, with seventeen other games available for us to see and play. For instance, Playstation VR will be showing off more of Resident Evil 7, along with EVE Valkyrie, Farpoint, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, and more.

In the live cinema demos section of the Sony Gamescom lineup, other highly-anticipated Playstation 4 games will also be coming. These include Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Mafia 3.

If none of those things interest you, you could look in the Truck and Mixed Zone of the Sony Gamescom lineup, where even more games are available for you to get your hands on. These include a new demo of the Dark Souls-like Ni-Oh, Killing Floor 2, Outlast 2, Overcooked, Gang Beasts, The Tomorrow Children, and Yakuza 0.

Gamescom starts on August 17, so if you’re in Europe and looking to get your hands on some of the hotly-anticipated games of 2016 and 2017, you can go to Germany and try and play them. Otherwise, those of us in Europe and the Americas will have to just watch streams or wait until the game comes out.
