Report: Bungie Destiny Rise Of Iron Won’t Feature Increased Vault Space

According to a report Bungie will not be increasing vault space with Destiny Rise Of Iron expansion, as there are memory constraints.

Alright Destiny players, it is time to clean up your vaults, and specially those who like to collect armor and weapons in their vaults. As Bungie will not be increasing the vault space when Destiny Rise Of Iron expansion hits the game.

According to a report from Gamerant, Destiny Rise Of Iron expansion will not increase the vault space. Destiny player have come to expect that Bungie will increase the vault space, as they have previously increased it in previous expansions.

Bungie has often noted that how difficult it is to increase the vault space in Destiny. The developers at Bungie has to deal with memory constraints to allow some extra slots. One factor that always appeared to make it difficult was to make the feature work on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The last gen consoles even got some vault features removed in order to increase the vault size, like not being able to compare weapons while in the Vault menu.

However, Bungie has announced that they have left behind PS3 and Xbox 360 for Destiny Rise Of Iron. So some fans were expecting that the vault size will increase substantially, but that is not the case. However, Bungie did not further discussed the reason for not increasing the vault size, maybe they will add something else to the game to make up for it.

In related news, Bungie is bringing back the fan favorite assault rifle with Destiny Rise Of Iron. Bungie has listened to the fan’s voice, and decided to bring back Khvostov 7G-OX in Destiny Rise Of Iron.

The Khvostov 7G-OX can be obtained in Destiny Rise Of Iron through a quest chain. Players will be able to get this weapon in different ways, one way to get this weapon is by periodically finding weapon parts for this rifle like last year’s Sleeper Simulant.
