A new Playstation Store global update has added a number of new games and pre-orders for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita. They’ve also changed the Playstation Plus lineup so that the games for the month of August are now available for players to download.
Games for Playstation Plus members include Rebel Galaxy and Tricky Towers for the Playstation 4. The Playstation 3 gets Retro/Grade and Yakuza 5. Both platforms, along with the Playstation Vita, will get Ultratron. PSP handheld devices will be getting Patapon 3, as well.
As for major games that have come on sale, Playstation has added a number of Playstation 4 games to its roster. These include the remastered version of Indigo Prophecy, Breach and Clear: Deadline, No Man’s Sky (which released today), a remastered version of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and the Gold Edition of the fighting game One Piece: Burning Blood.
Otherwise the update also brings up a lot of DLC, mainly for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, but also with a few DLCs for games like Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Primal Carnage: Extinction, Rock Band 4, Rocksmith 2014, and a number of various themes.
The Playstation Store global update also has a number of new updates for Europe and Asia, with each region for the most part having different games but also a number of similar ones. For example, every region will be getting No Man’s Sky (though in Asia only Hong Kong Playstation 4 players will be getting the game).
While a number of the pre-orders still haven’t come out yet, obviously, you can at least reserve a digital copy of the game that you want and maybe even buy another game to play while you wait, or even pick up one of the Playstation Plus games for free, though you might want to skip them if you don’t own a Playstation 3 and thus can’t get Yakuza 5 for now.
