While Thamium9 is a fairly common element, there are some useful tips that can help players farm it in huge amounts in a very small time period, without much hassle.
The isotope element can be found on certain planets with red plants on them. These plants have unique red bulbs and coral like features. Interacting with each plant grants players around 10-20 Thamium9.
The Scanner can also be used to easily identify and mark the plants. However, since the game is procedurally generated, it might be difficult to find a planet densely populated with such plants so this method might not be the best way to farm.
By far the easiest method to farm Thamium9 is asteroid mining. All players have to do is just fly up to space and look for asteroid belts floating around planets. Simply shooting the rocks there with the ship’s blasters will yield players hundreds of Thamium9 with the destruction of just one rock.
Alternatively, if players are bored of shooting at rocks, they can simply go and trade with NPCs. Players have to simply go and dock their ship to a Space Station.
After a few minutes, an NPC ship will also dock. Interacting with the pilot of that ship will open up a trade screen from where players can buy or sell Thamium9 in exchange for credits.
