QuakeCon 2016 brought us some new Dishonored 2 screenshots that look amazing. The art is really impressive and although some of the images show areas we have already seen in preview videos, overall Dishonored 2 is a very enticing product.
It looks like the game benefits from the power of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, the PC version will always win in terms of visuals but we strongly hope that devs will properly optimize it for PC.
Bethesda games are known for not ignoring the PC version so we can be optimistic about it. In order to run the game on PC you will need a decent rig but final specs are yet to be released.
Dishonored 2 comes with many new gameplay feature such the Pull and Kill. Emily Kaldwin is playable this time around and one of her newly revealed abilities is Pull and Kill. She pulls her enemies closer using a mystical power and knife them for a stealth kill. As you know stealth is a major part of this franchise.
The game heavily emphasizes on verticality and parkour so the map are designed accordingly. Furthermore, Compared to Dishonored 1, the new game has much more fluid combat, especially, when you see the melee attacks. Animations are very fluid as well and feel natural.
Arkane Studio will reveal more about the game in the coming months. Dishonored 2 will release on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
