Treyarch Studios has announced yet another Call of Duty Black Ops 3 double XP weekend. This seems to be the perfect time for those who are still at low level, because they didn’t play the game much or bought it recently during summer sale, or just want to hit a higher prestige level. With Infinite Warfare, the next Call of Duty game, almost around the corner, this might very well be the final Black Ops 3 double XP weekend as the game has pretty much reached the end of its ‘life cycle’.
The announcement was made by Treyarch Studios on Twitter according to which the double XP event will be running from 10AM PT on 4th August till 10AM PT on 8th August. The Call of Duty Black Ops 3 double XP weekend will be active on PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360, basically all the platforms the game was released on.
We're turning on 2XP this weekend…and by "weekend," we mean starting tomorrow at 10am/PT through Monday 10am/PT.

With no new release or increased XP event around the corner for other games (Rainbow Six Siege just ended its double Renown weekend) this weekend seems to be dedicated for Call of Duty Black Ops 3. After all, once No Man’s Sky is released, everyone will probably be busy playing that.
The official Call of Duty France page on Facebook also recently shared a small new video containing gameplay video from the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Being developed by Infinity Ward, Infinite Warfare will be set in a futuristic setting and seems to involve a lot of space combat and vehicles in a move to somewhat shake up the stale franchise gameplay with the new formula.
The new footage also shows some space combat as well as land vehicles, although it’s unclear whether those vehicles were part of a scripted instance or players can actually control them. The footage is of course from singleplayer campaign of the game as there has been no information or footage of the multiplayer yet.
