Dead Rising Remastered Versions Screenshots Fail to Leave A Good Impression

We now have first screenshots of Dead Rising remastered versions and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

A quick glimpse of the images and you will notice that Dead Rising remastered versions are nowhere near the visual fidelity of modern games, but they are nonetheless a significant improvement over the original games.

It has also been confirmed that both remasters and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record are not being developed at Capcom. The original game is ported by Polish studio QLOC which previously worked on DmC Devil May Cry for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Dead Rising 2 remaster and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, on the other hand, are being treated by Mercenary Technology which is also responsible for God of War III remaster and last-gen versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Screenshots

We recently reported that Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, and Dead Rising: Triple Pack (which contains all three games) are listed for Sept. 13, 2016 release date, according to Xbox Store. And although we do not have a release date for the original Dead Rising remaster, we expect it to release alongside the other games.

The original Dead Rising remastered version is scheduled to arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Dead Rising 2 remastered version and Off the Record will only arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon.

During its E3 2016 media briefing, Capcom also announced that it is working on Dead Rising 4 which is scheduled to release later this year on Dec. 06, 2016 for Microsoft Windows 10 and Xbox One as a timed exclusive.
