Why is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered Priced at $60?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered is going to $60 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Bethesda said don't buy it if you don't like the price.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The original title released years ago for $60 and strangely its remaster is coming our way bearing the same price tag. Charging $60 for 5-6 year old game begs an explanation.

According to Bethesda, it offers improved graphics with mod support on both consoles. All the DLC is included so if that doesn’t raise its value to $60 in your opinion, don’t buy it – said Bethesda.

Pete Hines on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered Price

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered will be available to PC users for free if they own the original game. Mod support is available across all platforms and its visuals improvements are impressive. However, when asked for an explanation for its $60 price tag we expect a better response than “don’t buy it.”

Of course, the choice of purchase lies with the buyer.
