Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gameplay Impressions; New Features, Side Missions and More
Last week, Square Enix hosted an event where a six hour demo of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gameplay was available. Square Enix invited many players to try it out. It’s safe to say, seems like, that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has no one divided. It’s pretty good.
In addition, role playing elements such as customization and dialogue options also exist. Set in the backdrop of a mechanical apartheid, the story follows Adam Jensen, the protagonist of the 3 main games. He joins a Task Force unit that aims to thwart augmented terrorist groups. Adam Jensen consequently works to unravel a conspiracy piece by piece.
Playstation Blog’s Sid Shuman played the game at the event. “I can say with confidence that it comes the closest to matching the singularly special original.
That’s the highest praise I can give, ” He said. Furthermore, Shuman goes on to describe the new visual enhancement feature. This new augmentation works with just the tap of a button. Almost exactly like Eagle Vision or Detective mode.
Finally, Shuman reiterates the variety present in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gameplay, “Are you a Rainbow Six purist?
You’ll love the broad tactical FPS combat options. Splinter Cell fan? The strong stealth possibilities will impress you. Fallout fiend? You’ll love the ability to influence the narrative and act like a jerk if you want to.”
Gamespot’s Scott Butterworth also got a chance to try out some Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gameplay. Although he criticized Prague’s structure and design, Scott praised the variety and depth of side content.
“Not only are there more side missions, the missions themselves are now more elaborate, nearly rivaling the complexity of the main story,” he described. Scott also praised the dialogue options. “Mankind Divided’s social systems feel more fully-realized than ever.”
If these impressions are anything to go by, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will probably be one of the most popular releases this season. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided comes out August 23rd for PS4, PC and Xbox One
