Skyrim Remastered is a hotly anticipated game even though the original released many years ago. However, it is a Bethesda game which means its lifespan is above average. Fans are still excited for it, hence, Skyrim Remastered!
Skyrim Remastered will release with many visual improvements on next-gen consoles and PC. Of course, the original PC version can look much better if you just use visual enhancing mods. Speaking of mods, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users are getting mod support as well.
In addition to Fallout 4, Skyrim Remastered will be supporting mods on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC users will be able to upload mods to Bethesda.net. From here on, console users can download mods but keep in mind, Bethesda will be keeping an eye on plagiarism.
Pete Hines stated that for the time being they aren’t sure if the new creation kit will be available to PC users prior to release. Releasing the kit early will ensure that there is a mod list ready for users beforehand.
Devs are yet to finalize release plans for Skyrim’s creation kit.
Hines stressed on the amount of work developers are putting into Skyrim Remastered. It is being said that the new Skyrim is as next-gen as possible.
Of course, there would be some limitation to it since it was developed for a completely different set of machines.
Skyrim Remastered will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in October. If you already own a copy of the game on PC, you will be entitled to a free upgrade.
