Many fans of the first person shooters were disappointed when first Titanfall did not feature any single-player campaign. However, Respawn Entertainment listened to the fans, and included a single-player campaign in Titanfall 2. Now Respawn Entertainment has released some new details regarding the Titanfall 2 singleplayer campaign.
According to the developers Titanfall 2 singleplayer campaign was a challenge for the team, as the campaign of Titanfall 2 in not linear like the Call Of Duty.
According to Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall 2 is not a typical corridor first person shooter, that will put you on a joy ride of explosions and people yelling at you. There will be quieter moments in Titanfall 2, and there will be multiple ways to complete a mission, and it will be up to you how you want to do it.
In a recent interview, Respawn Entertainment boss, Vince Zampella said that Titaanfall 2 singleplayer will appeal to as many gamers as possible.
Lead Titanfall 2 singleplayer campaign designer, Mackey McCandlish added”
For as long as there were single-player campaigns, no one got too upset. There were people really into competitive multiplayer who said, ‘I don’t know why they bother.’”
Zampella assured fans that Titanfall 2 singleplayer campaign will not be rushed, and will meet the demands of the gamers. According to Zampella it is due to the interesting universe in which Titanfall 2 is set in.
The developer has also confirmed that while Titanfall 2 will run on 60 frames per second on consoles, the game will support 144 Hz on PC, while suggesting how fast pace the gameplay of Titanfall 2 should be.
Respawn Entertainment has also revealed the sword wielding Titan class for Titanfall 2. It is fierce and will surely be the dominant force on the battlefield.
