Halo Wars 2 beta on Xbox One and will go on until June 20. However, PC users can rejoice as Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Wars 2 beta will arrive on PC as well.
Halo Wars 2 PC fans will have to wait though, beta will go live around the end of the year or early 2017. Microsoft is yet to finalize the details.
Halo Wars is coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One. Keep in mind that Microsoft has announced a pay once play across all platforms policy. This means that Halo Wars 2 buyers of Xbox One will get a free copy of the game on Windows 10. Same is the case for Windows 10 users, they will get a free copy of the game on Xbox One.
While the game is releasing across both platforms but devs aren’t adding cross-platform play between Windows 10 and Xbox One. But they aren’t ruling it out and may add it at some point in the future.
