State of Decay 2 concept art – attached in the gallery – outlines a standard biter/walker/zombie, a recently turned man, and a pretty neat view of an overhead bridge overlooking a lake with banners for fellow survivors all around it.
Microsoft and Undead Labs confirmed State of Decay 2 for as Microsoft Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusive during Microsoft’s E3 2016 media briefing. The game tasks players to rescue fellow survivors, build up a community, keep them fed and sheltered in order to survive the on-going zombie-apocalypse.
The next installment in the critically acclaimed “State of Decay” franchise immerses you in an all-new, multiplayer zombie survival fantasy. Build a lasting community, working with other players or solo to overcome challenges while exploring your own unique story in a world that remembers the choices you make.
From the reveal trailer that we saw at E3 showfloor, it appears like players will be forced to make tough choices that will lead to different outcomes affecting the mood and psychology of fellow survivors. Moreover, as also seen in one of the concept art, players will be forced to head out to large cities, break into houses/stores/ to salvage supplies as these play a crucial role.
State of Decay 2 currently remains without a release date, but is expected to launch sometime in 2017 for Microsoft Windows 10 and Xbox One.
