Xbox One Slim Priced at $299, Coming in August

After many speculations and rumors Microsoft has finally confirmed the new Xbox One Slim. The console is priced at $299 which is the most competitive price Microsoft could have come up with.

For $299, players are getting a 2TB HDD which is 1500GB more than the original model. It comes with new HDR gaming feature, IR blaster, and a brand new Xbox One controller featuring texture grips.

4K video playback is supported with Amazon Video and Netflix among other services that would be added later.

The new console opened Microsoft’s E3 press conference, ahead of a new Gears of War 4 gameplay trailer. It isn’t formally confirmed but we can be certain that the new Gears of War 4 is going to be bundled with the new Xbox One Slim announced.

And did you know? Every Xbox One exclusive that is announced for PC as well is going to be free for the other platform. Meaning buy once and play it across all platforms. If you grab a copy of Gears of War 4 Xbox One, which is announced for PC by the way, you will get a copy of the game for free for Windows 10.

Coming back to the new Xbox One Slim, the new machine is 40% smaller than the original console. Moreover, Microsoft’s Xbox Slim has a built-in supply which means no more brick. This is something fans have been asking for a long time.

And finally, One Slim is coming in August.
