Microsoft’s E3 2016 media briefing was all about games and of course new hardware – Project Scorpio and Xbox One S. One of the games shown during the conference that intrigued me the most was none other than Sea of Thieves by Rare.
Originally announced during E3 2015, we have been getting a lot of teaser screenshots for the game. During the conference, however, Microsoft and Rare showed a brief glimpse of some of the things that players will be able to do in upcoming pirate simulation game.
E3 2016 Sea of Thieves Gameplay Demo
Sea of Thieves gameplay demo that we witnessed focuses a lot on exploration and sailing that you will be able to do with your online friends. In addition to this, the game puts a huge emphasis on naval battles – all of which look very promising.
In addition to this, Rare also confirmed that each ship will have its very own captain who will has his own cabin in the game. Aside from captains, each ship will have its own crew who will have their jobs and routines.
When not keeping the ship in good shape, you will be able to engage the crew in tasks like repairing the parts which were damaged during the battle.
All in all, it was a pretty neat demo. You can check out the entire gameplay trailer from Rare’s Sea of Thieves attached above and make sure to share your impressions with us in the comments section below!
