Horizon: Zero Dawn could be the next PS4 masterpiece and possibly the next major franchise. Killzone developer Guerrilla Games is doing their best to do something different with their new game. This is the first time the team is working on something other than Killzone.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is apparently set in Colorado, 1000 from now. Humans lost a war to machines and now the world is like a mechanical Jurassic Park.
Gameplay is a mix of Assassin’s Creed and Skyrim. Players will be able to fully explore the open world, participate is different quests, create their own weapons, find what truly happened and why Aloy is so crucial to survival of human race.
Horizon: Zero Dawn was announced last year at E3 2015 with the promise of a 2016 outing on PlayStation 4. However, recently we came to know that Zero Dawn is no longer hitting its 2016 release window.
The game is delayed to early 2017, according to Sony Interactive Entertainment.
As you can see in the trailer, we’ve decided to push the release date for Horizon Zero Dawn to February 28, 2017. It wasn’t an easy choice to make; we know many of you have been anxious to play the game since we first announced it. However, we also want to ensure that Horizon Zero Dawn lives up to the visuals and gameplay quality that our games are known for.
Horizon: Zero Dawn looks in a pretty polished shape already and it should make it to February 2017 without any further delays. You can pre order the game, its collector’s edition is available as well.
