Following a series of leaks and confirmation by Ed Boone that Injustice 2 is in development, Amazon has opened the pre-orders for the game.
Injustice 2 is the sequel to the Injustice Gods Among Us, as the events of the game takes after the original game. The game will feature classic DC characters like Aquaman, Batman, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, SuperGirl, The Flash and Superman. The fight stages will includes locations such as Atlantis, Gotham and more.
Injustice™ 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice ™: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favourites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.
Recently, the GamesStop poster for the game leaked, which showcased Batman fighting The Flash. After the leak Ed Boone did his own brand of teasing by tweeting the list of people invited to the reveal of Injustice 2. GameStop name was on the list but Boone cancelled the invitation for GameStop after the leak.
Injustice 2 will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but a final release date is yet to be announced.
