If you’ve looked on with envy at EA members being able to play games earlier than you on the Xbox, now you don’t have to wait. Now, gamers can play in EA Access on Xbox Live Gold, allowing you to access games in EA Access free from June 12 to June 22.
This means that, with this offer, if you’re interested in playing a game that’s on EA Access but you don’t want to pay just to try it out, you can for a limited time try out all of the games on it and see how it works. You also don’t have to pay a subscription fee for using EA Access. Normally, EA Access would require you to pay five dollars for a month, or thirty dollars for a year.
The offer allows you to play over 20 games that are all available on EA Access. These include Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dead Space, Battlefield 4, a multitude of EA Sports games from FIFA to NFL to NHL to NBA, Titanfall, and more.
EA Access does have a point behind it though: members can play EA games before they come out for the wider public and and also save 10% on all digital purchases on the Xbox One. These opportunities allow you to be among the first to own upcoming games like FIFA 17, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Battlefield 1, and more.
Anyway, using EA Access on Xbox Live Gold allows you to play a full game without having to worry about coming to the end of a demo, so if you’ve decided that you like the game and want to play it more even after June 22, you can buy the game anyway and your progress will carry over.
Remember, the ability to use EA Access on Xbox Live Gold only lasts until June 22 and it starts on June 12, so it’s coming up fast and you won’t have much time once it starts.
