EA Sports and developer EA Vancouver have unveiled some new details about their soon to be revealed Ice Hockey simulator, NHL 17. The developer emphasis is to deliver broader gaming experience among other things, and that is why they have included new NHL 17 gameplay modes and other features.
The first mode is the Draft Champions mode, which can be found in other EA sports games like Madden and FIFA. In this mode players will be able to draft popular athletes and legends for their dream team to win the world championship.
In addition to this the developers have also included the World Cup of Hockey mode, which will let you compete against other teams for the world champion title.
The game also offers a Be a GM mode, in this mode the players will be in the contact with owner of the team and all of the team affairs. Players can also adjust other stuff like arena and food stalls.
In addition to these NHL 17 gameplay modes, the developers have also added new Goal Area Dueling system have also been added to the game, which makes the game much more engaging. This new system is a fight for every inch in front of the goal area. Goalkeeper will now have authentic postures and movement.
Developers have also added improved Reactionary Save intelligence feature which reads the game situation and the goalkeeper responds accordingly to save the goal.
In addition to all of these features, the game will include checks, passports, improved skating techniques and new goal celebration animations.
In EA Sports Hockey League mode has also included a player rank advancement system, which lets you unlock customization items for you players, teams and the arena.
With Team editor mode players will now be able to create their own logos and stickers, and with Arena Creator players will be able to create their custom venues for EA Sports Hockey League mode and Franchise mode.
